This isn’t at all about left vs right. This is about a man ill-suited to lead a town of 100 people let alone the most powerful nation on Earth. And he keeps proving this over and over. I thought the election was bad. But the inauguration has been worse.

Coincidentally “let them eat Styrofoam” is the exact health care plan that the republicans want to replace the ACA with.

yes yes yes!! I was also a very big fan of the “Patriarchy coffin.” hell yeah, let’s put the patriarchy to rest!

Yes, I just wrote that in response to someone else’s comment. So many parents were talking to their kids about today, why it’s important, and asking them for their opinions. I’m bursting with pride. I love this city. I love that the march reflected the diversity of Toronto’s population. I love that it was such a

RIGHT?! It was 100% a family event! Sooooo many babies and small children, I love it so much. The atmosphere was pure joy and love. It didn’t feel like a protest, more like a giant block party.

Maybe the smallest march. Fourteen of us (counting a baby) braved the drizzle in Sandy Cove, NS, Canada to march in solidarity wih our sisters worldwide.

Sometimes I forget that ‘diversity’ can also apply to diversity of thought and opinion. I am consistently surprised by the fact that there is no such thing as a country full of like-minded individuals anywhere in the world, as much as we may wish there were. Most of the time this is a good thing, but when the balance

I can only imagine that my deceased grandparents would have supported him. In a mental exercise, I think, I love them and they are good people. They just have a very myopic view of the world. I wish I could bring grandpa back and talk to him. Not that I think I could change his mind. I mostly just want grandpa back

Personal silver lining: My daughters—7 and 5-years old—were very interested in the election and pulling hard for Hillary. They were devastated when she lost, but have asked me to take them to the Women’s March in our city tomorrow. Regardless of how bad this gets, hopefully it will inspire a new generation to be

Oh, they learn. They just each think they’re special and it can’t happen to them. If anything, the fact that something terrible happened to someone just like them, but not them specifically, is validation that they’re doing somehting right. See also: Obamacare repeal
