Expert 1 and 2 have good recommendations. I would stay away from recommendation 3 and 4, you are asking for trouble with these two. wrong, be more aggressive than the schedule when it comes to maintenance (i.e. more than prescribed). Do you really want to follow those 10,000 miles oil change intervals? Also preventive maintenance rather than just maintenance is key.
I agree, I cringed when I saw that. All the A4 Avant owners I know had their fair share of problems, one of the best looking wagon out there, you don’t want to own one. I’m currently looking for a more sensible E91.
