I'd just gotten home from the Mexico City ePrix and I'm incapable of going to a race track without climbing around on shit and hurting myself

The Emira looks better, too, IMHO.

Except that “commonality” speaks explicitly to the case’s arguements regarding “safety”.

... that they have done several times before using the shadow docket....  ship has already sailed.

If I’m not mistaken, the Extreme Court was never asked to overrule Roe v Wade in Dobbs, but they did.

You could daily this, but realistically it is now a car for a Volvo hobbyist to tinker with and have some fun as their second or third car.  On that thought, huge bonus points for this color.  I’d rather pay $5k, but NP.

It’s been used for 23 years with great success and not just for abortion. The argument that the drugs were not thoroughly tested for risk enough doesn’t hold up to the years of use, but he knew that. He had made a position that needed justification. He and Alito had to reach way back many years to get their

I guess that if the front wheels are off the ground during the most critical part of the run, there's not much point.

1st gear: MPGe has always been dumb as hell... It should have been in basically mile/kwh or miles/10 kwh, which at least punishes the heavy ass square vehicles like F150 lightning and the humvee electric, and can be converted into environmental impact relatively easily if needed...

I’d be inclined to trust a teacher more than any sort of politician or clergy.

The video in the news report says that its tires and brakes. The video provided by the Turo guy shows that yeah, the car was raced, but the tires still had life left in them. My guess is he went and got quotes for new tires and brakes then chose one of the quotes to give to the news.

I don’t want to minimize any of the other big issues surrounding this, but we shouldn’t let the economic impact pass unacknowledged. A bunch of money and other resources were expended, becausecorrect and timely medical care was denied.

It’s a matter of time before a woman dies due to being denied abortion services for these situations.

He probably aimed on the higher side of the price if he includes labor I guess... I mean even with a full set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s ($1610.72 from Tire Rack) and some decently good brake pads(~$380ish from FTSpeed) I still only come out to about 2k for just the parts. If he’s including the brake rotors too

I believe the Texas mile is a standing mile where they shoot for the greatest average speed over the course of a mile. Acceleration and top speed are paramount.

Obviously the guy is lying. What I’m more confused by is how a near-stock Supra won anything? Don’t know how the Texas Mile works, but it’s either straight-up top speed, or classed, and either way, I just don’t see the Supra beating out all its competitors. It’s fast, but 160 mph (in context here) is not that fast.

The only solution they will pay attention to is unfortunately too heinous to consider. Until guns start bringing death to GOP politicians (repeatedly) they won’t care. Naked self-preservation is their only remaining motivating factor.

And they don’t care. The halls could be filled with protesters from morning until night every day of every legislative session for the rest of the year and beyond and it wouldn’t change the vote of a single Republican. Dead children don’t move them to rethink their fetishization of the the Second Amendment, so living

They 100% miss it. I can’t tell you how often middle-to-middle-upper-class liberal-ish people have informed me that blue collar folks aren’t okay with trans people - as if trans folks aren’t often blue collar themselves. They really do buy the idea that all trans folks are teal-haired teenagers with money hanging out

Anheuser-Busch is a division of AB InBev, the world’s largest brewer with revenue of $57B last year. I think they’ll weather this storm okay.
