Use it or lose it. Good luck with a parking brake that you haven’t used in years.
If you consider the share of wealth per generation, the pull up the ladder sentiment is not entirely without merit. It’s not about left or right, it’s just math.
Boomer generation has left the world worse off than the one they were born into. I don’t see that as controversial or debatable.
and didn’t pay even close to$40K
You serious? Taxes? The taxes that recently got reduced for higher income earners? That’s what’s causing you financial hardship?
Jeez, it’s really stupid how people like to pretend it was ever. Easy. The article and chart show exactly one thing. Age.
Yeah, it is almost like wage growth has stagnated and the guarantee of a yearly raise and bonus that boomers grew up with dried up after their 40 years in the workforce.
Oh, it’s not by dollar amount, it’s measured by take-home pay. Well the reason is obvious, it’s that Gen Z and Millennials, and to a lesser extend Gen X, get paid absolute garbage compared to Boomers who pulled up the ladder behind them, but still need to buy cars.
they should never be trusting the parking pawl anyway, especially in a heavy vehicle. youre always supposed to put the parking brake on.
tbh, it might not really be a zoomer thing. if you’re young and making shitty money and the average price of a new car is like $40K, then there you go.
Do modern autos set the parking brake automatically when put in park?
Keep wearing it and file a lawsuit!
The Mixing Bowl is chaos incarnate.
I-95 sucks way too much for the Jones Act to be the only reason.
I don’t know how it is in Connecticut, but my least favorite stretch of I-95 is between DC and Fredericksburg. It’s brutal.
One can only hope that the short hauls in and out of this region can be electrified ASAP.
I like this a lot. this is a solid idea... time to make an LLC
I could see an AI being trained like a paralegal. You have the overworked public defender, but now they are armed with reams of succinct info, and case law pulled for them relating to the case at hand. Possibly a summary of the case, all relevant info and then the linked precedents.
