So, in other words, we’re going to get two years of renewed speculation about the mythical Cadillac supercar before it gets released as another Corvette?

I don’t think I want to see what a further cost engineered Tesla interior looks like. Sitting in one now it’s already readily apparent they tried hard to cut interior costs and it’s blatantly obvious that all your money went to the powertrain. World class powertrain & batteries, OK economy car interior.

How the fuck did Qatar think that inviting hordes of soccer hooligans to their country, and then forbidding most of the things they go to soccer matches for, was going to improve their image?

You make it sounds like the “almost finished” one was scrapped. You did the same with the first article.

that bow artwork reminds of those old communist era giant propaganda wall murals.

Downside that always depreciate in value,  usually dramatically.  Whereas a traditional or even a modular home tends to increase in value.

I agree with you 100000%. And it doesn’t really matter much WHO is doing the research. And if Boeing getting some fat cost-plus aerospace and military contracts keeps them cost-competitive with Airbus on the commercial side - GOOD.

After watching the owners in my area drive these behemoths, maybe automated driving isn’t a bad idea.

Huh?

the ‘fail’ rate of FedEx and UPS is multiple magnitudes higher than the USPS, regardless of the anecdotal evidence you just remember off the top of your head of a fractional number of incidents.

It’s the color. If the mailboxes were Reagan Red, they’d be safe.

Back before 9/11 changed everything, you used to be able to drop people off at the gate, and also wait at the gate when picking someone up at the airport. Doing so meant that you almost certainly parked in a paid garage, and perhaps bought something from the concessions to kill time while waiting for your inevitably

I dunno if I’d do it “for fun,” but the experience of meeting a loved one at the gate -- or accompanying them to their gate so you can spend a little more time with them before they leave -- is something I miss.

Agreed, ATL and DC airports a bit of a different animal.

My thoughts exactly. SMF has versions of a few local restaurants and they’re more expensive, have smaller portions and the food is generally not anywhere near as good.
