We’re the “hangout” family. We always offer and have food & space for the kids. It really does give you an insight to what’s going on, so long as your not obtrusive. It also lets you have good conversations with your kids (and possibly others) about what you overhear, so long as your not too judgey in what you say.

eh, in this day and age, I’d rather have them close, and be able to keep an eye on the kinds of kids that they’re hanging out with in case some gentle nudging towards a healthier friend group are needed.

I fully expect some mediocre evolution of “retro” Mustang design with similar engines and drivetrains and a moderately improved interior. Dwindling sales limits the investment into new designs, and with the elimination of ICEs around the corner, they’re saving the development dollars for the first electric Mustang 5-7…

If you have kids, you want to make sure they’re safe, because that’s kinda your job. If they’re always hanging out at a friend’s house, you don’t know anything about what they’re doing, whether they’re eating healthy food, or whether those friends (or their parents or other people you don’t know who might be there)…

They’re the same people who claimed COVID wasn’t really a problem because “99% of people survive” completely ignorning people sometimes taking months and huge hospital stays to recover and even becoming permanently disabled.

If a state can prosecute someone for something it does in another state, then almost anything could happen. Why stop at abortion? You could be prosecuted for gambling in Las Vegas.
