Yep, most are used as glorified wagons minivans. The drivers came from much smaller and lower cars and deal horribly with the increased center of gravity and mass.

I would argue that the government funded R&D is what helps the USA stay ahead in technology and fuels GDP growth.

So, I could see chargers installed in rural areas without any charging network, but they would make more money leasing space to a coffee shop or some other business that get people to want to come into the building.

It varies a lot on the type of bike. Goldwing guys will go to a burger joint in the next state for lunch and then 2 states over for Dinner. If it’s a HD or hard tail, it’s only 2 digit miles.

HD really screwed up by killing Buell.

I’m surprised they haven’t figured out how to add a tax at the chargers. That would be the most similar to how ICEs are fueled.

Either way, when leaving WDW or Port Canaveral, the first fillup is between Walterboro and Florence SC. It just depends if we did a bathroom break and fuel before Jacksonville.

Yea, the engineer in-charge of PCM tuning had to have been told to nerf the power. I’m thinking Ford didn’t want videos of the Fusion Sport beating Mustang EB like the SHO was doing in the 90s. But with an aftermarket tune, people are dropping almost a full second off the factory times. Change the IC and people are

Fusion Sport, it looks like a plane jane fusion but with the 2.7 V6 Ecoboost and AWD

What would be better for pedestrian safety is to make everything else quieter. The parking garage exhaust fan is louder then Tesla’s speaker, so it is useless for the situations it’s designed to prevent.

My Fusion has the 2.7 EB v6 and AWD. The Crown has AWD standard.

That’s only because people have old usbA wall warts laying around. My last 2 Pixel phones and the wife’s Samsung all came with double ended USB-C cables.
Also, the faster charging and data speeds are only with double ended USB-C cables.

4,250 and 4,306 pounds”
It’s only 200lbs heavier then the Fusion Sport. The weight listed in google is often for the stripper or rental model and sounds like a tin can by comparison.
Modern cars are heavy, and for the size, is not that much heavier then slightly smaller sedans.

1. Zero commute, in the DC area that is worth 2 hrs of your life per day.

1st gear, supply vs demand. There’s a limited supply with more demand then available supply, thus the business can raise prices until supply and demand are balanced.

Yep, and vans get driven by the trades until they become unreliable and then used as a shed. So they often don’t move to another owner but to the scrap yard. Truck are status symbols, so they get replaced for a newer version.

If you or a friend has storage space, a cheap 4x8 trailer is far easier way to go. If i need stuff on pallets loaded, I can pull the sides and let the forklift do the work. When it comes time for much, I don’t have to worry about the tractor messing up the cab.

Oh, like what Buell wanted to do.

If only HD had a company and engineers that had an entire bike like that was a middle finger to everything HD stood for, naa they did need that company and scrapped everything for pennies.

My minivan has towed more then most of the 350s in the area. The vast majority are status symbols that might be used 2 times a year to move a boat.

Trucks do not support a job, Vans are what is needed for a job. The open bed of a truck means your tools are unsecured. Vans have your tools and supplies enclosed, out of the weather and secured from being stolen.

For farms, a 350 stake bodies and trailers are far more useful then a pickup bed, especially as the truck
