We were always hungy and wanting to play Halo (preinternet), so we would go to the house with food and the most TVs we could use.
So, it depends on the kids.

There’s a few things going on, most dealerships are now running minimal staff, so as shipments arrive it takes them a few weeks to process (inspect, paperwork, etc) to sell the car. A lot of the used cars on the lots are sitting and waiting for parts before they could be sold, or are customers cars that are waiting on…
Yep, but those are far off places and “blue cities”, lets arm the rural minorities.
Lets call their bluff and give every person a handgun. Once they realize blacks, latinos, and other non white men will have guns, they will change their tune.
WOW, with a few tweeks that thing looks like a hoot for AutoCross.
Considering it has the mall crawler special lift kit, fancy wheels/tires and the trailer ball has unblemished chrome, NP due to the truck never seeing dirt or a day of work.
If you close to many vents, it builds up pressure in the duct work, that can cause 2 issues. 1, if the pressure is to high, it will shorten the fan life since it has to push against the pressure it wasn’t designed for. 2. Leak air out of the ducts, if the ducts are inside the insulation bubble it’s not that big of a…
At this point with the chip shortages, you aren’t even guaranteed that the order will be for-filled or not pushed back an entire model year. It’s one thing if you have an existing car to keep driving, it’s another if you need a car now. But if you have a car already, you would be better off waiting 2-3 years for the…
Unfortunately, in today’s market it is NP.
Humm, you need to go new car shopping. You will pay at or above MSRP + increased dealer fees, and have to wait 6 months. It is nuts.
Essentially, rethink used cars to mean paying a premium for a car without a waiting period. Go look at used Taco prices, the use ones are selling for more then new.
Even Disney was getting in on the action, in their own Goofy way.
Why not both, Savana in Savannah
Don’t worry, someone will offer an 84 month loan on a 10 year 200k mile Taco. The price and demand won’t fall until the whole system collapses.
Someone that came from a VW product but now has more kids and dogs.
But there is also so much demand since there are very few new cars available that it won’t reduce the values of the cars at all. They will just cycle thru the dealership.
Look at the price of a 5 year old Taco, heck a 10 year old 100k Taco.
I wounder how much of Carvana’s issues are related to the states cutting back on DMV personal and Carvana isn’t buying politicians like the other dealerships are doing.
I suspect it is related to the costs associated with having a license. Often insurance will increase on the other vehicles in the household based on the assumption that the new license holder will drive them. It’s likely that he can’t afford to pay for the increase.
So, used car prices are absolutely nuts right now. If you can have a parent co sign, I would go for a base Corolla hatchback for 21k. Chances are any car that you can afford for 8.5K will be over 200k and need a lot of work over the next 4 years, bringing you close to price of buying a new base model.
I didn’t know this was still a thing
Susan Collins was vote #50 to confirm Kavanaugh.
