If you put a good I from the bleeder into a container, while the caliper is still on the car, open the bleeder and pull the caliper towards you. Often you can get the pistons to fully retract without any tools.

It’s harder to push the fluid back up thru the master cylinder. Besides, you should bleed the brakes anyways.

Given how the more expensive cars are shifting to hybrid or EV, they are less likely to need to keep selling the cheaper and less profitable subcompacts.

Agreed, it’s not a muscle that is designed to be large and powerful but for stability. A simple way to activate it more during existing workouts is to use a band just above the knees during squats and adding clamshell walks in a 1/2 squat position.
