I suspect, we will see the blueing of red counties just outside the exurbs as people are no longer worry about the drive time into the office. Why buy a house on a 1/4 acre when you can get the same house on 5-10 acres.

I don’t think it’s the touching the gas pump, as much as it’s one more stop at someplace where other people that might not be wearing masks are at.
Once people realize that their EV will always be charged, pre heated/cooled, no longer making stops just for gas, with the only thing to worry about is tire pressure, then…
why?
Good, then the alliance will only work to speed the process up and get Tesla on board.
It would be awesome if the USA took the lead and developing a charging standard with the EU. Then used that experience working together to align the rest of the auto regulations.
I prefer a plug cutter as well. As an additional benefit, it can be kept on a key ring with a bottle opener, making it easier to find.
In order to heal, you must first treat the infection and remove any gangrene.
It depends on the cruise line, advertise cheap rooms but nickle and dime you to death. Others like DCL treat the ship closer to all inclusive while on the ship, except for the alcohol and specialty restaurants.
Anyone else notice the charger is on the wrong end of the vehicle? Given that these vans will be backing up to loading docks, why not put the charger where the doc worker will plug it in? Or design an outlet in the rear that you back into.
You are far over estimating what teachers are paid.
1st gear: Who wouldn’t want a cute doggie that pugged in your EV every time you came home?
Yep, they need to be everywhere to change the mindset that recharging/refueling is something you do ad a specialty location. Range anxiety will dramatically decrease when you can top off anywhere.
Plus for businesses, it turns parking lots into generating income to offset the expense or even turn it into a profit…
1st gear:
I hope the federal government comes up with a program to help offset businesses install chargers. Once they are everywhere you are already going to go or stop and no longer need to make a trip/stop at a location just to refuel, it will change a lot of people’s thoughts on electrics.
The program could be part…
I think it comes down to this plan being viable military asset for a vert short period of time when radar stations couldn’t sweep that low without interference issues or were interlinked. But by the late 80s these planes would have been able to be spotted.
You also have DC on the wrong side of the river. VA took back their side, so the only remaining 1/2 is on the MD side of the river.
It will be interesting if SDoNY unseals the charges the moment Biden is sworn in and requests the plane that was previously called AF1 to land at JFK and take him into immediate custody due to being a flight risk.
Have a serious conversation with them about the next 10-15 years, they might be willing to trade in a car to help defray the cost.
With 2 elderly parents, get the minivan, TBH, look back a few weeks for the mobility conversion article and get one that can be converted to what you expect to be need in the next 5 years. but until the mobility conversion is needed, you might be dealing with 2 wheel chairs and other equipment that required the van…
The Toyota Sienna with the optional lift seat is the way to go if your dealing with wheel chairs, the seat rotates out of the van to the correct height to slide into the seat.
Nope, because of the semi frame design, the seats are to high for easy access, you have to climb up into them.
