The nonsensical part is what concerns me. A bad game can still be fun but a game you can’t beat because you need a guide to tell you to crouch in a corner with a certain item for a minute or whatever isn’t gonna jive with a lot of people imo.

I should of clarified. My 40k experience was mostly in the lore and video games. Tabletop was too rich for my blood. I would recommend if you and/or your son wanna get back into it there’s a game on steam called Table Top Simulator that has tons of factions modded in.

Over the last 3 years or so I’ve dived into various Nerdoms, Warhammer 40k, Realistic shooters (ARMA, Rising Storm), Comic Books, JoJo and MTG most recently. 40k and “real” shooters are full of edgelords, 4channers, and Anti-Semites. I despise narcissist, they’re a hidden plague on society but I do think its kinda nice and funny that the easiest test for it is to just be worried if you are one. Nature creates some nice checks and balances sometimes.

I own figs ranging from 15$ to 90$ and these are great if you factor in the amount of details and pose-ability per cost. Hasbro doesn’t usually paint weapon accessories or include effects like these.
