It's become increasingly common since the staff turnovers of the last few years to find myself wondering as I read their movie reviews if the reviewer even likes movies. It's as though though the reviewer is actually a literary critic, or versed and interested primarily in some other form of art.

"My Hero", "Everlong", and "Best of You" have always been (from my perspective) great (even fantastic) songs in the right time and place. Oddly, just about everything else from FF completely disinterests me regardless of time and place; some of it I just can't stand.
