They should have a function where the screen blinks at you if you haven’t put anything of substantial weight in the bed for some time:

It may seem easy to dismiss this guy because of an obvious corporate interest in sustaining their profitability from their ICE products, but even a broken clock is correct twice a day.

lHow is there not a Volvo wagon being suggested..
You want to sleep in it? Boom, plenty of room.

ngl, modifying you (only?) car in college to the point that you can’t rely on it for 4k miles seems...... unwise.

Using the rotary as a electrical generator means it won’t have reliability issues. It also means it won’t add any character to the car beyond being quirky.

Miata all the way! It can be surprisingly practical! I had an NC Miata for a few years with a trailer hitch for a small boat and bike rack. If you need the occasional space, pick up a little utility trailer. For the other 99% of your driving, it’s perfect. I can’t recommend it enough.

Find a spot between Illinois and the Rockies to swap out those warped rotors. You do NOT want to be driving through the Rockies on warped rotors, especially not on the return trip with the FC Jeep in tow.

I usually do think “Miata”, but yeah, am totally with you on this one. Wife and I rented an Abarth Spyder (ie, Fiata) in New Mexico for a long weekend a couple years ago, and it was definitely the highlight of our trip. Absolutely perfect Route 66 car, and we did, in fact, drive for several hours on Route 66 in it.

Too beat up for the price. Si’s are fantastic little cars, don’t get me wrong, but I expect better condition for a 20 year old car asking this kind of price.

Agreed. Only way to make qualifying better would be if they made Q3 a single car at a time, single lap Super Pole. That way you’d actually get to see each drivers full lap instead of just a static shot of the finish line for 15 minutes.

Only things I want from the next Forza Motorsport:

So spiking the ball when you’re on the 20-yard line instead of in the end zone doesn’t do any good...”shocking”.

Yup- see the Dodge Charger, Challenger, Chrysler 300, etc...

Right now, Mick is in a perfect situation. The car is so bad that nobody expects even points, making the races no-lose situations, like Russel had at Williams in 2019, and it will hide if he takes some time to get up to speed like he did in F2 and F3. And as an added bonus, he has a teammate that collects all the

Given all the inflation in cars and inflation in raw materials like steel and aluminum there’s essentially no chance that the base is really going to be $35K. Aluminum is up 20%+ over the pre-COVID pricing from 2019. So unless Nissan made the rest of the car out of recycled cardboard there’s no way they’re hitting

The new Z will be $40K minimum and more like $45K for something with a few goodies. That still comfortably undercuts the Supra. The Toyobaru isn’t in the same category and have you checked on Miata prices lately.

Not, $30k is not overpriced.

Stepping up your game is good cardio.

Driving home from an autocross, I’ll stop at a Casey’s and grab a couple of cookies and an Arnold Palmer. After a hot day in the sun, the tea hits just right and with enough caffeine to keep me going all the way home, all for the low, low price of $0.99.

I’m a software engineer, not a goddam miracle worker.
