The Indy 500 is an awesome race and my family has had tickets every single year since the early 90s. But we’ve deferred them for next year as we don’t think we are ready to be with that many people for an extended period of time. I don’t necessarily mind crowds, but I don’t like the idea of sitting near someone you

I think they learned a valuable lesson about the difference between the wet and dry racing line...

It really was horrifying to watch live. I can't imagine what it was like for his family. I'm so glad he made it out alive

We discussed the NeilMed nasal rinses (which I think are similar?) further down in the thread. I imagine the issue is probably time and that it feels funny, but it definitely works.

Gotcha. I just checked and I have the kit with plenty of packets left but the bottle has gone AWOL lol. Guess I’ll add it to the shopping list...

I really want to do the 6 speed swap in the TL Type S we have. It would be a blast

I typically don’t get headaches from my allergies but just feel really stuffed up. I’ve had pretty good success with the 10mg dose of Sudafed PE (small red pill) on really bad days of congestion but I prefer to not take drugs when I can avoid it so I don’t do it daily. I might try the Advil you recommend and if it

I agree, allergies have been really bad this year. Can we blame this on Covid too??

I’ve used that too but found it to be more of hassle than the Simply Saline stuff. Granted I don’t do it for a full flush but rather just for a quick clean in each nostril every morning. If I was going to do a full flush (in one out the other) I would probably go with the NeilMed. Side note, doesn’t the NeilMed say to

“Runs best with 15k mile old oil”. I had a 96 S-10 that was my first car and loved it, still wish I had it from time to time...

I know this is rather weird for a car site, but I recently started using Arm and Hammer Simply Saline Allergy and Sinus, and it has been great for clearing it up coupled with my normal allergy medicine. I think we got it at our local grocery store, so I imagine it would be available most places

GM products of that generation seem to operate best in a partially broken state with squeaking belts. But they Will. Not. Die.

My family has a 2003 Acura TL Type S in White Diamond Pearl with over 330k on it! My dad bought it with I think 40k miles and we’ve had it ever since. Only major issue was the well known transmission problems of the TL and Accords from that generation but that happened after 150k and it’s been solid ever since. It’s

Can we throw him in a tarpless hole instead?

Caterham sEVen

That’s exactly what I’m looking to do. I know I could drive the Miata to and from the track but it would always be in the back of my mind that I have to drive this thing home lol.

I would agree. Example, Jeeps Gladiator.

Don’t pay more than the vehicle is worth AND buy what you can actually afford!!!! It’s almost like people are horrible with money or something...

I've looked at Cayennes as an option to tow my Miata but just can't bring myself to take the risk. So I will probably end up with a high mileage Toyota instead

It’s not a myth. The first year of any new vehicle will have some teething pains. Granted now a days those are often small rather than massive failures but still. By the 2nd or 3rd model year they are usually sorted out. That is part of the reason I will almost always buy the mid generation facelift model if I can,
