My hope is that they have taken the time to overhaul the old chassis and stiffen everything they can without a major redesign. That will go a long way in improving the driving feel

I’m sure they do, but they are entirely different beasts designed to meet different standards. From my understanding, a $500 street motorcycle helmet is a mid to high end helmet. A $500 SA2020 helmet is barely above an entry model, and the new SA2020 standards have improved projectile protection compared to previous

I only watch a bit of F2 but the kid has a lot of talent. I just hope his father’s legacy doesn’t overshadow his own career

And they have one promising rookie who needs to get his feet wet, and MazeSpin. Looking at Mick’s previous success, his first year in a series wasn’t that great, often finishing pretty low in the standing. But the second year he gets in a groove and storms up the order.

I know this is quite a ways away, but if your head is exposed like that I would pay the premium for a higher end helmet, maybe a Stilo. I think that’s the popular helmet with the open cockpit Thunder Roadsters

I think one of the reasons the 370z hasn’t sold well is the extremely outdated interior and the price for said interior. I don’t think people will care if it’s an old chassis if it drives fine enough, looks good enough, and has a modern interior.

And cost went up with that change to the turbo engine. Looking at the 2013 G37x MSRP in 2016 USD is roughly $40k while the2016 Q50 Red Sport AWD MSRP is knocking on $50k. That’s a 25% higher price tag (yes I know there were probably better interior materials, updated this and that, etc., but still).

The 3.0 Supra starts at $50k, so I could see a $43-45k price target for the Z to hit, with more features/power/etc. I don’t know how expensive that engine is, but it’s got to be a fair bit more than the old 3.7 NA V6

Lag is lag, regardless of how minimal it is. IMO, turbos greatly change the dynamic of a car and take away from the machine and driver as one that the Miata and BRZ/FRS/GT86/86/GR86 epitomize in the modern time. Realistically, I don’t see these two being cross shopped that much because there will be a substantial

My favorite silly mod is the teeth I put on my Miata. Kids love it!

It’s too bad it can cause issues on modern vehicles (MAF vs MAP sensor I think?). Otherwise I think it would be fun to throw something like that on a pedestrian CR-V

The 370z with a VLSD starts at $33,820 according to Nissan’s website, I doubt the base 400z or just Nissan Z will be available for less than $35,000 in base trim (if that includes a true mechanical LSD). The current gen BRZ starts at $28,845 and the tS starts at $31,495 according to Subaru’s website, so I imagine it

I’ve seen manufactures run stuff like that in the street counterparts but not in the full blown race car, which would be way cooler.

That heavy water is hard to get your hands on, the Nazi’s literally killed for it

Yes, Forza motorsport isn't as good as Gran Turismo IMO. I haven't been able to put my finger on it but doing well in GT is a lot more rewarding

I jump on Horizon to screw around for a bit and then get a little tired of it. I think you're right about it rewarding everything too easily it makes the game feel too easy. I need to get a PlayStation again so I can enjoy Gran Turismo's challenge that Forza doesn't really replicate.

Normally I pair a peach Peace Tea with Welch’s fruit snacks or other assorted gummy snack. The gummy snacks typically don’t make a huge mess, so if I drop one it’s not the end of the world.

Absolutely. I love gummy candy and will always eat too much in one sitting.

Yep, I bet that Toyota panel will last for decades but it sure won't be pretty doing so.

Nope, I’m talking about the brand new one. The best example I have from it is the black out A pillars on the upper trims is not paint, it’s a freaking poorly cut vinyl wrap. It’s unbelievably cheap in some areas. It is probably a fine performing vehicle and most people probably won't notice it right away but I've been
