It’s amazing that the top 1% has convinced the bottom 60% that they should fight for the 1% to benefit at the 60%s expense. Truly amazing.

It will be interesting to hear his thoughts after his first attendance. It's an exciting atmosphere!

But there have been some injuries right? Wasn’t Dario’s last race a street course?

The only thing I can think of is track safety standards? I think there are only 2 or 3 tracks in the US that are rated to the FIAs standard to host an F1 race. However, F1 cars corner at a much higher speed compared to IndyCar, and I think that’s where the crazy high standards are set.

Road projects will always be a massive uphill battle in the US. One of the biggest issues is who is liable for a new road construction that doesn’t pan out like it should have? The state DOT, the construction company or the company who created the alternative? Asphalt lasts roughly 10 years before needing a refresh,

Ugly rear end, but decent condition and solid price. NP but I wouldn’t buy it

I wonder how many LMP2 and LMP3 cars would have finished if it rained for an extended period of time. There were worries it would just be a repeat of the LMPC class that caused or was involved in something like 60% of all cautions in the final couple seasons

He did that a couple years ago too! I enjoyed Ricky trying to put a mask on his dad during the interview

Hasn’t the red one caught on fire every Daytona 24 since they joined DPi? Maybe they thought it was cursed

Yep, just like how every track day consists of 40% Miatas, 20% 3 Series, 10% BRZ/FRS, 10% Vettes, 10% Civics and everything else is the remaining 10%. They are fantastic at it and it’s hard to beat the normal “everyone has one” examples at what they do best.

Wait until you see the “shifter”

Thanks again for all the info, I’ll keep that in mind when I’m looking for a possible track car later this year!

Thanks for all the info!! I test drove a new 2020 BRZ at a dealership a few weeks ago and compared to the Si I drove there, I wasn’t a fan of the shifter action. Granted it was a short drive and it was unfortunately a day with bad weather so I was focusing on not getting clocked by the stupid drivers around me. I'm

Have you driven an NC or ND by any chance? I’m looking at replacing my NB with an NC or BRZ/FRS but after a test drive I didn’t care too much for the shifter on the BRZ (compared to a 10th gen Si and mentioned NB)

Energy density is a problem for EVs in high power situations (high speed and towing). If someone can figure energy density and fast charging out, I think we will see EVs that can give ICE cars/truck a run for their money in all scenarios.

This isn’t from a dealership, but road hazard tire warranty is absolutely worth it unless you barely drive the car, or live in an area with perfect roads. We just had a high quality 6 month old tire get destroyed by a puncture and only had to to pay $25 for the replacement, which is the cost of the new warranty. So

Wasn't the crash in an LMP car? Either way, I'm glad she's back in the car and in IMSA again!

Hmm... One is currently running on something base in the mid 90s with more bandaids than a hospital and the other CHANGES EVERYTHING FOR NO F***ING REASON WHEN THEY UPDATE! Ugh... Neither

Something to consider about these leaks: People and companies can lose copyright and patents. Imagine spending months or even years working on something novel to be patented, only for some asshat to take a picture of it and post it online. *poof* there goes a patent, *poof* there goes a copyright. While the leaks can

The NC Miata. It’s the least loved but I think it has a lot going for it, especially if you don’t compare it directly with one of it’s siblings
