I would do the same when I was stressed from school. Go out into the country, picked a road and drove it till I got to a stop, turned down whichever direction looks more fun and repeat. It was a great way to get lost in the moment and just enjoy life.

Next year should be better with NBC Sports covering it

I was at the race this weekend (turn 5) and NOTHING was said as to why there was a delay. The only way we knew the pace car had an accident was when a wrecked ZR1 drove past on a flatbed. No comments, no video replays, nothing. The only way I found out and saw what happened was from my mom, who was watching the race

Finally, someone brings that up. Old Mercs/Bimmers were fantastically bulletproof but nowadays, ehhhhh not so much...

But we have to be prepared in case we get attacked by the ENTIRE WORLD all at once! Doesn’t matter if our country is turning to dust behind us, no one will take our crumbling infrastructure!!!

People definitely underestimate how well Honda’s do on a race track with a little prep

Colin Chapman approves! (and so do I, long live SAAL!)

It looks like a primer and the article said the build isn’t done yet. So it would be a waste to paint/wrap it in a crazy color, modify the bodywork a bit, and then repaint it again.

My god would it be nice to have money for a toy like this... Other than that, this build is top notch. I’m looking forward to the follow-up piece!

The ad is in all caps so CP

I love how the Penske crew next to them tries to throw a bucket of water at it as it drives by. A+ for effort

This is hilarious and a great way to “get rid of” a pre-production model while still having a little fun

If anyone says something along those lines, they are almost as dumb as the teens who did this. This isn’t doing pulls on a highway at 3 am with no one around. This was racing down a street with pedestrians.

The best sounding GTLM car is by far the 911 RSR. Nothing compares to the raw scream of that flat six.

Any engine that you can hear the exhaust note as it approaches you, is doing a great job in the noise department

Something the size of those Bentleys shouldn’t be as fast as they are. And they are hilarious to watch through sweeping corners

~4 lbs/hp versus ~23 lbs/hp. That seems like an even match to me

Yep! That’s what I’m referring to

The HPD supercharger was only available for the manual transmission cars. Could be from space or torque/power rating for the CVT vs the manual

You can have them with a manual too! Which could open the door for a supercharger....
