No. I'm a retired literature professor who respects strong writing which is rare in popular culture. To see an extraordinary writer reduced to an unfair stereotype bugs the hell out of me.

You are oversimplifying a complex story. Women shouldn't be anything but wives and mothers?? Really? Do you remember Betsy finding a key piece of evidence? And Molly was a brilliant professional. Like some others on here, I get so weary of knee jerk accusations of sexism when there are so many obvious examples

You're adorable! Thanks for taking my dumb comment in the spirit with with it was intended.

I enjoy every one of your comments

And then you ruin it foe old English teachers by using the wrong its

You haven't seen Part 2? DeNiro when he was still an actor? Watch it right now! I mean it. Now!

I hated it so much, I left to make a disgusting ice cream sundae. Now I hate myself

I Can't believe our reviewer found that scene funny.

Yes to all!

Yes. In the after show, they mentioned laudanum was a pretty common crutch. I also doubt the cop was killed

You might edit this; you're calling the victims assholes, but I don't think that's you intent.

Where did that come from?

Yes!

Well now I have to see it for the 5th time just to see that.

Says you

My favorite one word response in the series, wish I'd thought of it when I had short people around.

Yes, but what amused me most is that it's the first time this whole season where Noah looked handsome and said wise and kind things. Good acting for West, poor judgment for. Helen. (Btw, I found the Leftovers excruciatingly bad this week, but I don't feel up to entering that shitstorm; there's Thanksgivings to prepare

I was fascinated by how much kinder, nicer, and actually likeable Noah was in Helen's versions while it was in his section where he became the worst MRA asshole. That never used to be the way it worked.

How's 70? And I am so owning it!

mine too, and I'm way old!
