Who dares to call this Wes Anderson’s worst movie? The only one of his films I don’t love is Bottle Rocket, because I haven’t been able to make myself sit down and watch it all the way through. I just get bored with it. But I’ve seen all of his subsequent films multiple times. I fell in love with his style immediately…

Wait wait wait wait. Wait. The last Incredibles movie was ‘great?’ I saw it in the theater and was incredibly disappointed by it. It had forgettable villains and a plot ‘twist’ you can see coming from a thousand miles away, and it jettisoned of all character development from the first movie. Not great.

So, one of the lessons here (among many) should be that there shouldn’t be a statute of limitations on statutory rape.

With the specific font used in the trailer, I’m disappointed that the Law & Order ‘DUN DUN’ effect wasn’t liberally used.
