50 miles out and 50 miles back is plenty of fun for a couple of days. I had a hell of a good time, and it weighed about the same as the Harley Pan America, but in a smaller footprint.

An electric would rule for this type of riding.
The fact that you don’t see the problem shows your privilege.
Yeah, Bugatti needs to bulk up its road supercars. I want one that is at least about the size of an AMC Eagle wagon. And looks like an Eagle wagon. And is brown. With velour seats.
The GX460 adds a swing up window, to make is slightly more convenient. Honestly, I live in a compact city and the swing out gate on the GX hasn’t been a big deal.
The 460 added a flip-up rear window that solves this problem nicely.
It sounds like you have a reasonable perspective on the matter (acknowledging that 99% of the time it is better to take a breath and chill out for 30-60 seconds). If it were a tourist driving slowly and taking in the sights in their rental car, you wouldn’t be able to pass them either but nobody is talking about…
Based on your own description, I would say *cars* are not safe on public roads.
You are overly entitled for getting enraged while being slighly inconvenienced somewhat by people doing a normal thing. I mean, you have to angle your foot somewhat differently, Karen. Get a grip.
The day a cyclist “blows through an intersection” t-bones a minivan and kills the occupants your argument, or thought, might begin to make sense.
In this case the driver got charged with DUI vehicle manslaughter (at 10 a.m. on a Sunday morning), so it would seem to be hard toward one end of the spectrum of possibilities.
Multiple studies have shown that cyclists break traffic laws at similar rates to drivers. Basically everyone is still a human.
The infrastructure really makes it a regional debate. The west coast was a little easier to deal than other places I’ve lived, with the frequency of bike lanes and high number of cyclists making the interaction more common. However, I never ride anymore unless it is an off-road bike trail. I’ve had too many near…
I have put yellow fogs on every vehicle I’ve owned.
No need. Anything would be better than this turd.
I recommend wandering over to The Root often. If we could get more folks angry about the blatant injustices happening to way too many simply because they don’t belong to a region’s dominant race, we could correct the underlying cause of the injustices sooner.
Still Ugly.
Honestly? Most people into this I know are respectful of others and the land. And try to leave things at least as good as the found them.
Counterpoint, our local Utah Toyota Offroad group is fantastic. We sponsor public trail clean-ups and maintenance, teach proper land-use and techniques, and correct anyone who posts about misusing land.
