The hubris of these people. Throughout his childhood, my brother spent several stints in the local children’s hospital. He’d be there for two, three, maybe four days at a time about every two years. He also went to lots of appointments there. My mom would stay with him, and she’d get to know all the nurses on the

As the father with a child with Autism, I want to be clear about something even though this article did not specifically mention it. Vaccines had nothing to do with it. While I am not a medical doctor, I do have a PhD in Computer Science and like to think I am somewhat intelligent. But guess what? I know when to stay

Yeah, but at least he’s not autistic.

Next time, turn him away from the hospital and let him die. Let these kids start dying and let’s see how long it takes for the anti-vaxxer movement to stop.

Sometimes you’re comfy on the couch, and it happens. You're already a little sleepy, just want to close your eyes for a second while it loads and BAM. It's an hour later

Vermonter here updating the ice conditions. Generally 14-16" of ice depth plus some snow/slush in the protected bays of northern Lake Champlain. Wind and currents do some odd stuff on the open water outside the bays. I prefer to be on foot with ice safety gear rather than in a 2+ ton vehicle. Somewhere in Russia right

Herzog Zwei. Now that’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time. You are absolutely right, Peter. This is the best RTS almost no one has played. In fact, I’d go so far as to say it’s THE gold standard for how to execute an RTS for consoles. Such a good game, and an extremely unique experience to boot!

Never played? I played this shit out of this as a kid. Pronounced on the other hand... I’m not sure that the child me ever said it the same way twice.

This game was the tipping point into me getting the Nintendo Switch Online Service.

Using this neat little party trick in photoshop reveals even more!

This is so fucked up and funny. I loved this.

This was a joy to read, Peter.

My boys are years away from driving, but if I ever got a call from the cops late at night about one of them playing Speed Racer in my car I’d politely ask them to keep the kid until morning.

Let the Audi go.  Impound the kid.

Obviously a white driver or the outcome would have been different and faster

They say it’s not the destination that matters. But it turns out, it’s not the journey either.

Someone needs to tell that baller that reliability doesn’t transfer with the badge.

Yeah I don’t much know if it was smarts (but thanks!) as persistence. I completely fell in love with the idea of the game right from the jump, and I’ve always been the type to just hack away/obsess at something til I figured it out if it’s something I’m interested in, something my mom encouraged with that game strongly

I would expect that this is a two-fold problem:
