I’ve been playing on the map with type archipelago or islands, whatever it’s called. I only had two camps ever on my island and it took a while to get rid of the first, but they were just a nuisance. I specifically chose this map type after being thoroughly annoyed with the barbarians.

I played an island game with Spain and there was an island that had 2 barbarian camps on it and it took a god damn stone-age D-Day to get rid of them. They’d spawned something like 12 units, it was incredible.

My good friend-let’s call her Jane to protect her identity- told me her ghost story last year, and since then it has been confirmed to me by several people who were around at the time. It took place back in the late 90's when she was in her early 20's.
