I know what you mean when it comes to the touch, in my experience anyways, there are times when it is not as responsive as physical buttons would be.

When trying to use the browser it seems to freeze and crash a lot, at times turning pages isn't very responsive, and my double clicks take time to register sometimes too. I know the kindle wasn't designed for browsing but i believe that they should keep trying to improve it... that way people will feel a better bang…

Word of caution the Kindle touch loses much of it glamour the second you start using it its kinda buggy. I would suggest the cheapest Ereader for books
