I found it insane how happy Mrs periscopes (CFO of a fairly large company) was when we had a fridge delivered a couple of years back.

Garages in the UK are generally too small for modern cars. I did manage to keep my last one in ours (a Mazda MX5/Miata), but my new car is too wide. I miss the drama of lifting the garage door to get the car out.

I feel absolutely the same. 19 year-old me would be shocked to discover I married at 26. He would probably be even more shocked to find out that I'm still happily married at 41.

I find that exercise really helps me manage my depression. Especially at this time of year: Feb-Mar is really busy and stressful, and I'm the kind of person who loves being outdoors (weather and work conspire against this).

If she looks like Maimie McCoy, I understand wholeheartedly…

Yeah - I'm the same.

But do not have a drink then have a drive.

The only pair of shoes I ever bought (with out previously owning pairs made on the same last) over the internet made me lose the nail from my small toe. Three years later, it still grows back damaged.

That was my first thought when I read Milady last week.
Not a good pet name.

Yep - H2O is best.
Preferably in a pint glass on each bedside table if you're doing a proper marathon.

Experience, man.

Same, but 14 and 41 here. So no hope for you…

Everyone, if the past is anything to go by

It was just a joke.

Given that, I'd steer clear. I wouldn't want to feed those hopes.

My sympathy. I feel for you. Sometimes I also struggle with the accumulation of shit.

Seven years ago, I applied for over 100 jobs, and interviewed for around 20.

Depends - if you're 15, nay.
If you're 65, watch out for his heart.

My friend has a lhasa apso. It's amazing how many women randomly come up to us when we are walking him.

When I got glasses, my acne started. You are so fortunate!
