I went to school with an Arwen, and Eowyn and a Rohan (different families, too). I guess they were the 70s-80s versions of GoT's names.

Yes, of course. I'd like to blame the Dayquil.
"Struggle struggle struggle then some Lion come from out of nowhere and saves the day."
That is a bummer. I expect better from Jezzies than starring trolls. (Although caffeine winning March madness also shook my confidence in the community a little ...)
Yes - to default to all replies would be great. The highlight usually just bums me out.
Now the highlight is a good comment, which is great. But often the stupid ones just stay there.
Is there a way to make "All Replies" the default?
I don't want to respond to it, but why is it that on every article, the top comment it the stupidest, trolliest one? That shows up on "Highlights?" I feel like kinja has brought back the olden internet comment days of "First!" and that whoever has the earliest trolliest comment is the one that gets the most…
You mean give Lincoln credit? Sure!
What! Lincoln was clearly a Democrat, what with the amending the constitution to expand civil liberties and belief in a strong central government. Right?

I don't think you can make much of the argument that beauty is not a social construct. Even a cursory survey of art from across cultures pretty much proves that aesthetics are culturally based. One might argue that health is universally considered attractive, but even what is healthy is culturally dependent. In…
Don't know if this helps, but they are leaving PRI for PRX (Public Radio Exchange). PRX built the mobile app for TAL (so many acronyms). PRX also built The Public Radio Player, which, if you are a public radio nerd like me, is the best app ever. So basically, This American Life will now do its online/mobile…
Who is "The Alderian"? Why am I only seeing comments from him? Why is he highlighted? What is happening here with the comments?
Bossy bitches unite!
For some of us, that is this site's strength!
I didn't realize smug-bitchiness was earned behavior? I thought Jezebel was a safe space for smug bitches.
Which statement is impossible to refute? What Moore wrote is pretty incomprehensible—its grammatically unsound, syntactically bizarre and needlessly hyperbolic. I guess it is hard to refute because it is nonsense.
