I agree. This is awful, and truly a sign humanity is going down the tubes.

I don’t recall ever saying they shouldn’t be answered. But we have to remember when asking how to pay for this, it shouldn’t live in a vacuum. We have to question why we’re spending so much on other things, and why the ultra rich and quite a few corporations pay little to no taxes. And with the ACA, we didn’t get what…
You’re right; we should just throw up our hands and say “welp, that sounds hard. Better give up now, than later!”. Good plan.
Perhaps, but some of it’s wrong, some of it easily answered, some of it already solved by other countries. I’m not saying it’s a cakewalk, but it’s not insurmountable, provided we go at it without an attitude of “ah well, our government is just going to jack it all up anyway, so why bother?”
So because there are hard questions, we should just give up now, and not try to answer them? Many other countries have answered them. I guess we’re not smart enough.
I agree. This is so stupid. Is anyone really offended when someone says “bless you”?
It’s not a ton of work, but it causes issues because then they likely have to get more change sooner.
I do exactly the same thing. Both ownCloud and BTSync are amazing tools, that cost nothing (except hardware).
This is all because an employer (in this case, another government agency?) doesn’t use Air Watch or similar? I know with our iPhones, I can remotely wipe a passcode off, and then the person can get into the phone to set a new one.
Getting an old PC and throwing a decent-sized drive in it, and then installing Linux and BTSync largely removes the issue with a computer being always on. Personally, I use a virtual machine running on an ESX server to do it. A cheap solution is a Raspberry Pi and a large USB2.0 hard drive. Leave it on, and the only…
This is cool and all, but why aren't more people skipping paid services like this, and just investing in a Raspberry Pi and using Bit Torrent Sync? Great apps, works fine on iOS, and isn't stored on someone else's server.
Ultimate recording studio space. You could play as loud as you want, and no one would complain. Do. Want.
Imagine how Doctor Who feels.
