Typically I use both heat and A/C at the same time. Warm dry air.
Although it's automatic on most cars now, I am amazed about how many people don't know about running the A/C in the winter (or anytime) to remove humidity and clear the windows.
Mostly increased induction noise. This predates BMW style induction porting into the cabin of the car. Now this induction tuning can even be found on the Ford Focus ST.
Flipping the air filter cover? I would guess most haver never heard of this, given the modern air box designs don't allow for this.

Late entry, I'm not sure this was mentioned yet, but I see the cigarette lighter going away and being replaced with USB ports for power and charging. They are smaller, more efficient use of space and the defacto charging method for portable devices. Plus there are less smokers now and less of the smokers are using…
