Sorry, you missed the point entirely. The sims will not help you with car control feel, but they will help you learn how to follow a proper racing line, where to break, and the layout of tracks. It helped me greatly on my last trip the the ring.
Video games like Forza are great ways to learn the racing line, braking zones, and slip angles without the expense of DE events. Once you have the fundamentals down here, you will learn that much quicker in the real world.
