Come on. Not all of Emma's love interests die. There's always August/Pinocchio, who should still be alive.

Yeah, and don't forget what happened while she was in Afghanistan - she made a deal with a native that if he betrayed the Taliban, she'd keep him safe - and then her unit, thinking of him as [insert racial epithet here], killed him anyway.

At that point, you know you're dealing with that subset of people for whom it's not the assumptions that underlie the models that may be in error, it's reality that's in error :-).

That's a fake laugh.

My biggest complaint (other than the horrible-looking Wookiees) is that it just had no sense of "What's going to happen next?" Every plot twist was telegraphed so far in advance that there was no perceivable tension.

It's when someone has been devoid of fibre for a long period of time, and suddenly has a glass of prune ju... Oh, that's a v. Never mind.

It's been awhile, but I think that Manwë went to Eru after the Music of the Ainur was over and said, "Dude, Melkor totally ruined your sick beats," and Eru replied, "Chill, man. Every beat he dropped was part of my cosmic plan."

Can't see it happening.

Samaritan doesn't work for the people of the US. It works for Greer...

Calling Harold "Harold" isn't a bad thing - his first name is still the same (see the image of his dissertation).

I hope we see more of Elias.

And then Road Runner physics will take over as you look down and realize what you're standing on isn't solid.

Hulu? Really?
