I love how I clicked on this story because a one-word reference to Fargo got me so excited, and the first thread is all fuck TD, Fargo rules! I think i watched TD2 but my only memory is that I liked the crime guy’s wife’s haircut. But I could reliable recount Fargo2 scene for scene, it was just. that. awesome. I can’t

Those roles must’ve been so goddamn fun for those two! Based purely on their reaction shots alone, not even considering the low-key magnificence of the rest of the cast (Danson, Smart, Wilson-who knew!?!- and someone needs to give the actors who played Hanzee and Betsy all the jobs), Fargo is a better show than 99% of

You shut your mouth about Patrick Wilson! lol... but seriously, I devoured season two of Fargo and watched multiple times. It was the only show (other than GoT*) this year that left me devastated when it was over. It better sweep the Emmys. It deserves every single trophy (let alone nomination) it can wrangle.

Cool beans! I’ve been meaning to give it a look, but you just put it a good bit higher on my list. Thanks!

Interesting. Season One didn’t grab me, but this reminds me, I should try Season Two.

I didn’t recognize her for the first three episodes! The only “Jean Smarty” delivery is when she’s discussing immunity with the police and she’s like “what good is immunity if it doesn’t cover murder?!” (Don’t get me wrong, I love Jean Smarty delivery. But I was just impressed by how not Jean Smarty she was for this

And Jean Smart’s matriarchal crime boss! I was floored.

Mike was such a dynamic character but since the season ended Hanzee is the one I’ve thought of the most. Why? How and Why? are still the questions. Would love a spinoff of Hanzee or Mike.

Thank God she got a $6 million settlement in her civil suit. I have this theory as an attorney that the only way rape victims can get vindication anymore is through the civil system. I have represented rape victims pro bono to file lawsuits against their attackers, and against the police department, and will continue

I didn’t want to read this. The headline was awful enough. I knew how this would play out and I just couldn’t. But then I though, fuck, I need to read this because this shit happened to a real life lady. They raped her (cop, lawyers, investigators, all of them) over and over again. And that rapist only got 9 years -

Same. After the first few episodes of S1, i kept telling as many people as i could, it was one of the best ANYthings i’d seen in years.

1001% in agreement. THANK you. Also, the smell! The 70’s was all about the b.o.

Yes! Every time he was on screen I was just so excited. I bet he had a blast with that role.

Kirsten Dunst and Bokeem Woodbine were superb. I was especially happy to see him get to stretch and do something completely different than what he usually gets to do.

A local Twin Cities reporter made a name for herself and became a national CBS reporter several months ago. One of her distinguishing features? Her winter hat. Reportedly, national CBS news took to calling their winter hats their “Yuccas” because of her. In other words, STFU Salamone.

See, I just rewatched Working Girl a few weeks ago, and based my comment on that experience. I'm not any kind of informed film critic, but to my untrained eyes her performance appeared shallow and one-dimensional. I get that it was 80's pap and not haute cinema, but she stood out in a bad way.

I tell you I come from the middle east, and when someone tells me that our culture is not more macho blabla I feel SO disrespected, because I feel treated like a small child that can’t take criticism. Taking my culture seriously means judging it according to the same standards everyone else is judged. My mom, my

This is true. When I was living in Europe, the worst street harassment I ever experienced was from Middle Eastern, Arab and African men. I wish it weren’t the case but it’s true.

At some point (hopefully) we’ll seriously start talking about why men are fucked up.

So when women are sexually assaulted by Arab appearing men, the solution is obviously we close the borders.
