“Memorable film actor?” Seriously? In addition to being a steaming hot physical presence, he showed the kind of commitment and nuance in his work one rarely sees now. Another ‘small’ film - Altered States (folks might have heard of it) was daring for a 1980s film and it has held up over time.

I’m surprised no one made the argument that this would destroy Erin’s character. I never really cared that deeply about the show, but I watched it when it came out and I, like many, loved Erin. This would’ve soured a *lot* of people to her which would’ve taken the writers a whole other reason to make up for it.

Michael IS a shitty person. But he’s shitty because he’s pathetic, so no one needs to take his shittiness all that seriously. There’s a difference between firing a receptionist by lying about her stealing post-its, because you think it’s fun to bully people, vs you have no idea that TV isn’t real life.

I’m glad Jenna fought for the painting. Good for her. I’m a sucker for sentiment and that last shot of the painting of the building gets me.
