Did Geico branch out?
Did Geico branch out?
Well, in my defense, I’ve seen a lot of dicks in my life, so I’m inured.
Dude I want your elbow.
I know Harmon has made mistakes, but I’m always happy that he has a complete self awareness of his own faults and seems to make genuine efforts to improve himself.
Pink loves circumcision confirmed
Roiland looks like the kinda manchild who brings a board game no one has heard of to a house party and throws a tantrum when no one wants to play.
What the actual fuck was this person thinking? If they were unaware of the propane tank in the back, what the actual fuck was the person who left it there thinking?
I dunno’. To me (I can’t stress that enough), he’s talking like a human being, and especially in text, that makes it easy for people who are predisposed one way or the other to read into what he says and conclude that he thinks this or that, or is implying one thing or another. FWIW I’m obviously guilty of that.
the global conflict depicted in Edwards’ thrilling film, which pits artificially enhanced intelligent robots against humanity
I don’t get it. Absolutely everything described in about this movie in this review sounds unbelievably cliched, done to death, and derivative. The threat from Asia, the childlike AI, the traumatized US soldier, the visuals etc. etc. What am I missing? What’s so good about it?
Shoot it straight into my veins.
it’s 2010 i’m reading an av club article about how chevy chase doesn’t think community is funny
But is there a crying baby in an invisible blood maze level?
it has an unnecessary, and therefore suspicious review embargo
I think with them - he’s that one friend that’s an asshole, you know they’re an asshole and you have to tell people in advance “this is Chevy, look he’s a mate but...”
While this has a cool look, it also seems incredibly stupid in execution. Why would they make a robot that looks human — except for the giant hole through its head? “What do you want?” “For robots to be free.” Wow and they say subtlety is dead...
I mean, the premise “I’ve been sent to aid in the destruction of a dangerous secret, and oh no it turns out it’s a cute child and I’ve taken it upon myself to protect it” immediately brings to mind The Mandalorian and Star Wars.
The trailers make it seem like very generic SF - “Lone Wolf and Cub” + “War of Machine and Men” + “The Maguffin that Could Save Everyone or Doom Everyone”. Perhaps it’s much better in the execution, but it’s hard to sell that.
When you’re on the wrong side of LeVar Burton and Mark Hamill... you should at least stop and think about how you got to this place in life.
