Long awaited by whom?

I read that bullshit “It’s just not challenging enough anymore!” line and for some reason this popped into my head.

I got a Kindle Paperwhite several years ago b/c the reviews said ebook readers were no longer a horrible reading experience.

you know that no one is forcing you to watch ALL of them, right?!

it’s not like the MCU where if you miss an episode you might not know how Sam Bee got to be the new Captain America because Jimmy Fallon wiped out half of the other hosts using the infinity stones.

I didn’t want to get a Kindle but finally broke down about 10 years ago.

This isn’t a criticism of the subject matter, or of John Oliver specifically, but I am growing increasingly tired of the genre of “person staring directly at a camera tries to make funny points about politics.” It was one thing when it was just the Daily Show, but now we have Colbert, Trevor Noah, John Oliver, Seth

Basically mirrors my experience. The only reason I started watching it was because Ted Lasso ended and it autoplayed MQ. I’m a pretty big It’s Always fan, but MQ never really caught my attention; and It was pleasant enough in the beginning, but nothing fantastic.

The nicest surprise after finally adding Apple TV to my roster (remember when it was fine to just have Netflix?). Jo is such fun, and Poppy is ADORABLE. The lockdown zoom episode was legitimately great.

I nearly dipped after the first couple of episodes because it was fun but nothing spectacular. (I started it on a whim after consuming an entire gummy edible.) “Dinnah pahty!” was fun, to me. To say.

This is a great show.

Fuck yes. Host was the tits.

I mean, she’s just doing something everyone who has ever lived in LA has wanted to do at some point.

It’s been over a year since the pandemic started and I still see people not having their mask cover their nose.

Backlog month? 2021 is my backlog year lol. With the exception of a few multiplayer games to hang out with friends, I’ve mostly stopped buying games to focus on cleaning out the log.

...hasn’t that been the case for most of pandemic? Even podcasters have been classified as essential workers. Aren’t we a couple weeks from everyone being eligible? Why the outrage? At least they’re getting people vaccinated rather than opening the doors and letting the chips fall where they may, like the CMAs did.

The actor says this made him think of Black actors like Gary Coleman and Jimmie Walker, who became synonymous with the catchphrases of their TV counterparts.

If my heart could give awards, Ted Lasso would sweep.

Ted Lasso should win all the awards. It’s a shame it came up against the last season of Schitt’s Creek, which I also love, but deserved more in earlier seasons and fewer for this one.

I really can’t believe how unbelievably stupid these have gotten (and mostly were from the beginning). People trying to one up strangers on the internet for quite literally pointless likes/hearts/stars.

Pointless death as a result of one of the more pointless trends of my lifetime.
