Where exactly do these “war on Christmas” people live? I live in Seattle, which the MAGA crowd has apparently decided is now a godless lawless coastal elite hellscape, and as far as I can tell Christmas is as ubiquitous as ever.

Hey! I always look forward to seeing Pete. He has a weird unexplainable charisma, and I def have a soft spot for him - but since I’m many, many years older I mostly want to fix him a snack, ask how his therapy is going, and counsel him about his life choices.

The first section was my favorite part! As much as I love the book as a whole, that first section (basically everything up to the manhunt in the woods) could work on its own as a novella/short story. It’s so unsettling and strange and disturbing that the rest of the book is a bit of a come-down.

love this show. seeing a real shift away from ‘omg epic lolz’ tim & eric style* comedy into slower burn, more deliberate stuff like this and joe pera talks with you.

Well I hope the overall tone is nothing like The Outer Worlds. I was really not a fan of how they made the whole thing almost a joke. Rather than being a commentary on the evils of runaway capitalism, it made such a caricature of it that you can dismiss it all AS a joke.

Nothing turns me off a game faster than a million icons on the map TBQH. To me it screams developers just stuffing a game full of crap do to so that they can crow about how much content their is rather than actually figuring what what the game does really well and focusing on that.

No, in these awful times the only reactions to content allowed are either rage or YASSSS and either way we will, nay we must, have a thinkpiece about it

I would really enjoy a Biden vs. Trump “Get off my plane!” moment. After a “You’re fired!” at the inauguration. But Joe’s too classy for that.

There’s a Grand Canyon-sized gap between a game made by an established studio who made one of the most acclaimed game of the 2010s promising a very good game versus a small studio that’s only made 2D sidescrollers promising the impossible.
