The problem for me with YouTube is not that there’s an inherent logical flaw in its suggestions, it’s that it applies that logic to assume that I either a) only want to watch this one particular thing from now on, or b) that since I like this thing I am gonna like that thing, even though I constantly tell it I don’t.

Isn’t it weird how the internet went from a place where you could sorta carve out a niche for yourself and your interests and really only see what you wanted to see, to then somehow being bombarded with shit you had absolutely no interest in seeing, and no control over? Maybe that’s why it sucks now?

Pound for pound, Homie the Clown is the episode that makes me laugh the most. It’s not my “favorite” episode (i.e. the one I show people to introduce them to the magic of The Simpsons, which is, for all intents and purposes, Lisa the Vegetarian), but whenever I want a laugh I watch Homie.
