Those aren’t his two top picks. Those are just two movies he recently said he liked, in separate interviews, completely unrelated to this podcast. The author is trying to draw a connection here and doing a lot of editorial hypothesizing.

Those aren’t his two choices for great movies of this era. The author of this piece is taking unrelated pull-quotes from separate interviews and using those as a sort of “answer” to the statement he made in this podcast. A statement which, let’s be honest, is just kind of a flippant throway line at the top of the…
Laura Dern kicks all the ass. So does Jamie Lee Curtis.
“How the players play the game is not up to us! If the ball goes out, and they want to claim it was “in”, and throw a hissyfit that questions the whole validity of the sport even though there’s plenty of evidence to prove the ball was out, eventually inviting thousands of their fans to rush the court and kill a few…
Which is ironic since Jesus was famously given presents.
At one point he 1000% believed he could’ve been a professional baseball player, I’m sure of it.
I don’t think court rooms have a “show me before you post that” policy.
“We’ve tried nothin’, and we’re all out of ideas!”
I do feel bad for women who develop early and suddenly get all this unwanted attention, just for having large breasts. I knew a girl like that growing up; hit high school and suddenly she’s getting noticed by everyone: the boys, the girls, even the teachers. Bruh...this look AWESOME. Thanks for introducing me!
I said it before and I’ll say it again: Nick Offerman was right there for the voice of Garfield.
You nailed it! Combat was a chore, especially with two-handed weapons. They take way too long to swing, and they leave you incredibly vulnerable to attack. And yet all you can ever find are two-handed weapons, so then when you do find a one-handed weapon and a decent shield, you finally get to try the parry/dodge…
Haha you mean open zone game, it’s an open zone game, we all know that, right? Haha no one said open “world” nope, clearly said zone. Open zone.
Mass Effect RPG but instead of saving the world and killing everyone you just, like, run a bar on the New Citadel or something and get to interact with all the people and solve little mysteries and puzzles and also run your bar and who knows maybe you get to romance an alien or two.
I think specifically “cleaning fees” started getting higher due to Covid as the places had to be “disinfected” and all that (read: Lysol was sprayed everywhere).
