**gestures indignantly**

I have no objections to sexualizing an AI Keanu Reeves.

Okay help me out: this movie seems like a spin-off or something, why does the idea of The Black Phone in that room feel so familiar? Was that in one of the Sinister movies or something else?

Well-put. A lot of the math comes in the timing of it all: how long do you draw out suspense? That drawing of the bowstring and then having a “jump scare” or some form of relief snap the string, but how much tension can you have before it gets too much (or not enough?) I dig the “geometry” reference too: think the

Unreal Engine proved we can make a fully digital Keanu Reeves, so my big question is: why don’t we make an AI that looks like Keanu Reeves? Show me a person that would be upset if their AI robot influencer whatever looked and sounded like Keanu Reeves and I’ll show you a liar.

You almost stopped living, but did you stop believin’?

In my beachtown area, there’s a surprising amount of FJ Cruisers. I think this concept would be a hit near me, and I’d definitely be interested but would need to know what the cargo looks like (will this go entirely flat, have weather mats, etc.)

Outer Wilds. There’s no “the” in the game title.

Man I think Amazon (or someone else who cares) has had the rights to Old Man’s War for nearly a decade, and it’s still nowhere to be seen.

I liked Goldeneye AND had access to good PC games. The problem is, I had shit-ass internet at my house and none of my friends had good enough PCs to play games, but they did each have an N64. So it was cool to go over to a friend’s house and play 4-player split-screen multiplayer deathmatches. The controls sucked, the

A cool riff on the Peter Pan story is the novel Lost Boy by Christina Henry. It’s like an origin story for Captain Hook, and it makes Peter look like...well, a giant asshole. Kinda turns the whole thing into a Shakespearean tragedy. I dug it!

Sigh. I was cranky yesterday and tried for G/O snarky wokeism and failed (serves me for trying to pander, honestly).

OH! And how about Hank stalking down the corridor with the lights buzzing/flashing from the jolts of electricity, and at the end of the corridor is the weird out of focus shape of something humanesque but we can’t tell what it is. That was so good.

That’s a good point, for some reason I was imagining that they’d inherited some farm or something but it’s been awhile since I’ve seen it.

It’s a movie about a semi-competent middle-class straight white male who constantly fails upward while anyone around him who has a modicum of an independent thought, including women, people of color, and disabled veterans, constantly struggle to exist in a society that unfairly accommodates and celebrates semi-competen

I’ve finally been playing through Breath of the Wild and I’ve come to the conclusion that a “bigger, more explorable world” isn’t always better. I’d much rather go onto a smaller world that is more densely populated with interesting shit rather than huge giant worlds that take real world hours to explore, only to find

Watching this trailer makes me realize how much I really liked Prey. Man, I really like story-driven single-player games with RPG-like elements.

I thought Lightyear Frontier was a sequel or spiritual universe to Journey to the Savage Planet and now that I realize that’s not the case, I’m a bit surprised in how similar they are in tone/aesthetic.

Bill Hader should direct horror movies. That scene in the jail cell is just impeccable and horrifying. The use of noise (one moment oppressive, the next deathly silent) in the beach scenes or when Sally kills the biker in the soundproof room (what a moment!) and the car chase scenes...man. He’s good.

I doubt he’ll be the same though. There but not “there” nawmean?
