That was a really nice moment in the film, and for Kilmer himself. I think it was really respectfully done and was a nice tribute to him.

When did we decide that we needed to make vomit look as authentic as possible in movies? and to always have to show it, even in films where it’s not even necessary for us to see the actual product? Can we just...stop this trend? Please?
My take: he asked for more money, arguing he and his castmates were worth more than they offered. Everyone went “oh shit, that’s a ballsy move” and it was reported eveywhere. Then Disney probably said: “Sorry, we can’t pay you more, either take the money we offered or we’ll swap in randos to do your job for you,…
The main storyline is great, and the voice acting is phenomenal. But there’s a lot of “map clearing” you have to in order to progress the story. Like take over boroughs by either doing an assassination thing, stealing something, destroying something, yadda yadda. Those bits are insanely repetitive and just feel like a…
Mafia III was ambitious, but ultimately flawed, and ended up being this game that had great moments surrounded by a whole bunch of jank and repetition. It’s a shame because what they were going for was neat, and the story was actually pretty interesting; the gameplay just bogged it down. I think it had a really big…
This is really sad. Obviously excellent in Goodfellas, but brought great energy and presence to even smaller roles like in Field of Dreams and Heartbreakers. He was also fantastic in Joe Carnahan’s cop drama Narc, which I recommend to anyone looking for a great Liotta performance. RIP.
Harry Potter and the Foreclosed Home
Or God’s just like, a fucking hot mess.
Comedy for these big-name acts feels like it’s following some sort of horrible algorithm. Like, what topics can I talk about that would get me the most attention, good or bad? It’s a bit unsurprising then that Netflix would be the home for this sort of algorithmic comedy. I wouldn’t be half-surprised if the next big…
I love him so much. He’s one of the best stand-ups working today, hands down.
What, you don’t still believe in Santa or that having the light on in the closet keeps the monsters away?
Dang. Never has a Playstation but was an Xbox guy, so would’ve loved to have played this as I’ve heard only good things.
To which I say: Good! Shake things up! It’s fucking stale as hell right now.
Definitely. If there’s one thing this show needs, it’s more cast members!
Hard to get mad at this when I’m decently excited about that show set in a Blockbuster Video.
Thank you, this is what I’ll be watching.
A nostalgia-laden dystopia with massive income inequality and a culture focused on POC erasure that only exists to serve a billionaire’s massive nerd-boner ego? Shit. You might be right.
This looks great! Please don’t be 150 min long, thanks.
Art is meant to be copied! Whether it’s an indie game dev copying a mega corporation, or a mega corporation copying an indie game dev, we really need to stop making accusations of “stealing” and “plagiarism” when something looks like something else!
