My 1988 Buick Electra Park Avenue was named Bertha because she was a big ol’ thing, and my late 2014 Kia Optima was named Maxine because I got her at CarMax.

If I recall correctly one of those fierceley misguided religious women snuck herself onto the supreme court and started this whole mess...
That video convinced me that Dana Snyder’s voice for Master Shake is really a David Lynch impersonation in disguise.
Pfft Hans Moleman did it first.
The setting would’ve resonated just fine with COD players if you’d gotten to play as the Nazis.
This looks positively, absolutely, dreadful. The humor is crass and stilted, the plotting seems thin at best, the production level wildly fluctuates between semi-inspired and numbingly bland, and it’s just a cavalcade of bored celebrity cameos thrown together for no other reason than to hopefully get as many eyes on…
Amazon is VERY good at pushing older shows of theirs on the Fire stick. Most of the time the shows have already been cancelled, however (see: Truth Seekers, Patriot, etc.). Netflix, on the other hand, buries their month-old originals deep in their system where you’d have to go out of your way to search for them to…
I know you’re being facetious but if I knew someone who is super into all of those things you listed I’d probably avoid them like the plague.
Haha right? I was just bitching about Amazon not bringing this show back, and yet, here it is. I didn’t even see the trailer announcement a few weeks ago. This is great news!
It really does nothing for me to see the “youths” satirized in media. It kind of feels like punching down, even if written from someone living that perspective (or close to it) and it’s just kinda...sad? I guess? I dunno, maybe I’m just older and I don’t “get it” but in my opinion satire should attack powerful subjects…
It’s so strange (ha!) to me that if this film didn’t have a gay character in it, like, Saudi Arabia would justbe cool with it. It’s a dude in a cape distorting literal time and space, fighting off giant Lovecraftian tentacle monsters with magic, and this draconic society in the desert is like “we are totally fine with…
I think Stranger Things is the only show that actually makes them any money outside of subscriptions, with merch and outbound licensing and all that. It’s their cash-cow, and you gotta spend money to make money, yadda yadda.
Eh, they presented it the same way Hollywood Reporter did, but to AV’s credit they at least addressed that it wasn’t related to Ansari in the subheader.
It’s wild that he brought back Bond from the dead twice, with arguably two of the best Bond films ever made. Just a stunning accomplishment. Not to mention The Mask of Zorro is just a damn fun film, too. And thanks to Vertical Limit I learned what pulmonary adema is, so, there’s that as well.
Let the man touch them! He BUILT them, for God’s sake!
I would love love love if Disney called this douchebag’s bluff and pulled out of Florida. At least on the level of shipping all their employees down there; I can’t imagine planning to shutter Disney World would ever happen, but deciding to not bring more employees to a state rapidly receding both into the past and the …
Yeah but he may not wish to disclose health matters at this time. A lot of celebrities rcently have been more personal with their health issues (think Bruce Willis, or no one knowing Norm MacDonald was ill) so it’s not out of the question this is due to his health.
Farts. He was a fun part of the show, and I think could’ve gotten a nice graceful exit. I do hate when actors leave a show before their characters get a good send-off, but oh well.
I disagree with the concept that other developers don’t lie and don’t fail to deliver, but I understand your point. Are there developers you think should get a spotlight instead?
