As an aside - what’s up with Amazon Prime lighting for their originals? It feels so bright and glowy, is that just me?

I really liked JGL in Brick. I’d recommend people go watch Brick. 

Oh for sure, I figure a lot of companies closed their offices to cut costs. But these “tech” companies that are all about perception spent ungodly amounts on fancy office space, so it was always silly to me that people thought they’d just suddenly throw away that investment.

Oh I’d love to go back to an office part-time (we currently don’t have one near me) as I do miss the interaction. I’m more making fun of the countless posts and articles claiming that remote work was the best, offices were dead, and “the future is now”. It just seemed unrealistic.

Remember those halcyon days of late 2020 when everyone thought we’d never go back to an office again? Like these giant corporations would just let these multimillion dollar office buildings languish in the sun until nature overcame them, as we all basked in the glory of remote working? Those were the days...

Opinions on the matter aside, why was this bill passed right now? Like were man hours being wasted on ticketing cyclists blazing through red lights and stop signs? Nobody who owns a bike has to read any sort of “rules of the road” pamphlet before they get out there, so just curious why even make this something that…

True, Batman did great. But Dune is a Legendary picture they distributed so they don’t even get the accolades. Some money, sure, but awards, merch, etc. all go to Legendary.

Agreed; not sure the issue in LA is that “people be stopping too much” (I live in LA). 

It’s not even that movies should be shorter for attention spans, it’s that movies rarely ever justify their lengthy runtimes.
