Why is it being banned, though? Honestly just asking, I can’t find info on it and am just curious.

Yeah the morally upstanding executives at Activision were surely wringing their hands regarding world events when they released all those COD games. 

People pointed out on another article how “whataboutism” (whether they were using the term correctly or not) about the war was really a dangerous game to play, and judging by the comments here, it looks like the “point out hypocrisy of America” campaign is in full effect.

So? They don’t lose sales, no one starts a Twitter campaign to cancel Nintendo because of “poor timing” on the release, and people get to say “good on Nintendo” for cancelling the thing. It’s all net positive, I honestly don’t give a fuck the reasoning behind things if it’s all positive outcomes.

....why? The article linked didn’t give an explanation as to why ethyl alcohol is being banned. Is it bad for you? Is it anti-Mormon? I don’t get it.

Ha, same! I tried a Smirnoff Ice Smash because it said 109 calories on the back; I’m thinking, damn, this is like a Bud Light Seltzer or Natty Light Seltzer with only a little bit of added sugar, this should be okay. Had one sip, looked at the can again...109 calories per serving. Fine. Servings? 4.7!! Tasted…

It can be both! Artifical sweeteners suck, and it’s disappointing that companies ruin their products with them.

Channel 5 (formerly All Gas no Brakes) on YouTube is currently following these guys, and based on the very brief footage I’ve seen so far, they are completely unhinged and detached from reality. We’re talking “the war in Ukraine is fake” kind of insanity. 

Well, that looks fucking weird. Which is NOT a typical reaction to an Apatow film, since they have felt same-y as of late. I think I’m actually interested in this! Mainly for Duchovny, though, let’s be real.

Didn’t check out the show, but this still makes me bummed for John Cho. I wish him all the success he deserves, and hope Troublemaker launches him even further into the spotlight.

Should be fun. I do like that for every “kids today” screed Bill goes on, he then turns it back on himself in a wonderfully self-effacing manner. Kind of a nice give-and-take. Not to mention Burr’s showing off some good acting chops in stuff like King of Staten Island and Reservation Dogs.

Second on banning Laserface. It’d be nice to have discussions about episodes without him spamming stuff and then dismissing comments when he’s called out for it. Not sure why it’s allowed?
