It's a little too gun heavy for my liking, but most of that is still avoidable with proper use of stealth
it's a reboot. They're reshaping her a good bit. She's still the rich british chick, but her backstory is different. One of the Tomb Raiders had her at 16, this one she's 17 on her first adventure.
Bf3 (on PC at least) was amazing at launch. Totally playable and enjoyable without any of their patching.
The cover system isn't snappy like Uncharted. It's loose and fairly weak IMO. Gun play is too prevalent although stealth is rewarding.

I found the new Tomb Raider to be a fun spectacle that felt A LOT like Batman: Arkham Asylum. The semi-linear gameplay, rewarding exploration, gadgets that expand your exploration abilities, xp system. Pretty much everything about it is Batman with a Tomb Raider twist.
Yeah, an average rig can run a sim game on this level. It's been feasible for years. They just like pissing off the people who legit buy the game.

although they axed the Starcraft MMO mod. But I think it interfered with one of their ideas.
I was so worried that they were gonna get the bear wrong. But that bear looks perfect for the role.
For those wondering, Path of Exile is pretty damn good. Very much spiritually akin to Diablo without making the same mistakes that D3 made.
