Why am I afraid that MS will say the next Xbox wont have always online requirements, but in a later firmware update make it so you have to. Not saying they can do that without reprecussions, but i get the impression they really want this always online/no used games crap.

If this is true, then I am definately not getting the next Xbox. I avoided D3 and Simcity for the same reason, always online requirement is a no no. You would think MS would learn from Blizzard's and Maxi's mistakes.

Well, all I know is that I'm interested on the PS4 moreso than any of the other consoles. I asked to be put on Gamestop's notification list for the PS4, im guessing thats what they are basing their 'interest' research.

If its true that 5million sold is the minimum for profitability (i doubt it), I dont hold out much hope of them doing a follow up with as much quality as this game. I haven't been this happy with a tomb raider game ever, even compared to the first.

Personally I'm not as adverse to used game restrictions since I never buy used or borrow games even tho I understand why its a bad idea. What scares me more is the possible always online requirement, haven't Sony and MS heard of what happened to Diablo 3 and not being able to play when their servers were overwhelmed?…

I played both games, both had a right to be successful imho. Both couldve learned and be inspired by the other. What would've made CoH perfect for me is if they couldve emulated the freeform power selection from CO.

Agreed on Zenimax...hopefully they will back off their MMO plans and just concentrate on their great(if buggy) srpgs
