I think it’s hilarious that these people think the joke is that Fred Armisen is cross-dressing. The REAL joke is the insane amount of earnestness and reactionary outrage on display by the types of people who own businesses like this.

Have you BEEN to Portland? I lived there for 10 years. I saw 5 black people. Asian people aren’t as scarce. But it is mostly white.

I’m not even sure what “up” and “down” are in this scenario.

I think they were upset tha the BLM sign was removed so it wouldn’t be seen on the show. They also state BLM Portland also meets there regularly, and are also reminding people of the historic racism of the Oregon and Portland in particular. Oregon was formed to be a “white utopia”

i wonder if they have any people of color working at the store

The Rant Is Too Damn High

I know it’s a story where the punchline writes itself, but I hope people will also remember that good humor punches up, not down.

It seems like such a caricature of itself, at least in this story.
