That's pretty much what this is - the other robots would have stopped him to prevent human-on-human violence.

OOOOOOH SHITTTTTTTTTTTTTT

But he made me his bitch with Daikatana. I would never forget his face.

I'd buy that, I'd also buy a counter-narrative where Wyatt was sent in to "clean up" Dolores's rampage, making his recasting as Wyatt's assistant a perversion of his actual role in events.

And the military/espionage/murder/other unsavory shit possibilities of the technology are mindboggling, of course.

It's allegedly on an office door in an early episode, but I haven't seen it myself.

There's also a line in the scene where Original Clementine kills the other host that they've fucked with the host's IFF to make him scan as a human, so there's something they CAN do to make the park systems identify a host as a human being.

I'm piecing together a theory from a couple of threads here - Teddy was the sheriff at the original Demo Village. Delores's first attempt at gaining consciousness, even before she meets Billy and Logan, ends with her going on a rampage in Demo Village, turning some of the other villagers into her army, and killing

so i hate to interrupt this whatever-it-is, but YEAH! Teddy's prototype was the sheriff of the Tutorial Level. Delores's failed Robot Uprising killed park employees and presumably Arnold. The park sent Teddy (and possibly other hosts?) in to quell the uprising without further human casualties - hence his memories

I mean, it's possible Logan, being a dick, was planning on getting Billy to fuck a bunch of robots and then be like "YOU FUCKED AROUND ON MY SISTER! LOOK AT THIS PHOTO OF HER YOU ASSHOLE!" and then be all "hahaha nah bro it's cool, just fuckin' with ya."

He's one of those Michael Chiklis dudes, where he's just always looked older than he is.

Someone upthread suggested that the Wyatt Gang were all older gear-and-servo hosts as opposed to the new blood-and-guts models, which explains their robustness.

I figure we are guaranteed at least one more Arnold visit - we have to see how he dies.

He's like those people who go to Disney multiple times a year and know where all the Hidden Mickeys are and jerk off at the possibility of ever being let into the secret club that's on Main Street USA that I just learned about in the last couple months.

Delores also said in the "now" that it had been 34 years and something days since she spoke to Arnold.

It's a comic, but James Roberts uses this to great effect in More Than Meets The Eye - several times, in fact. You should read it. It's lovely.

Ford kills him - or he kills Ford.

Or Marilyn Monroe.

But hey, you're working in show business!

I like this a lot more - Arnold de/re/programmed Delores to kill him as either a final statement about the consciousness of the hosts or a Frankenstein's Monster Gone Awry deal, probably the former.
