It’s not about saving money, it’s about being cruel to poor people.

The reason that they inspect every last item is because WIC has very strit requirements about what you can and can not get. If just one item is incorrect the check is declined and the tore gets no money. One place I worked at as a cashier and later front end manager would actually take the amount of a declined WIC

Starred for “Woman Man”. I chuckled.

Why? Explain your point.

The best part is that when you get to Montana you can...hmmm...look at the sky?

I’m not sure what her foreign policy creds are. I’d much rather have someone like Fiona Hill.

You’re probably right.

She ran a bad campaign. That’s it. Would she have been the nominee if she ran a better campaign? I don’t think so. But the fact remains that she didn’t sell herself effectively. I don’t love her or hate her but the fact that she was disliked by the progressives and the centrists leads me to believe that she was going

He will have a strong showing in IA and NH and then get trounced in SC and drop out.

Sestak was a fairly progessive democrat. I wouldn’t classify him as a moderate. But yeah, he’s not all that inspiring and no one knew he was running anyway.

Thank you for your answer. But I disagree that she had the broadest base of support. If this was the case she would still be in the race. Also, while I’m no Biden fan, calling him an unaccomplished nobody is really just silly. He was a long serving and influential senator and former VP. In what version of reality is

I really wish Abrams was in the race.

Can you explain Harris’ lack of support from black voters? If she had support from back voters she’d still be in the race as the black vote is the most important demographic for the democrats. Are they racist, or what? What’s going on?

Gabbard has the support of Russia so she will remain a candidate until she eventually runs third party shaving off just enough democratic votes to ensure a second Trump term. I hate this timeline.

Sestak was a good senator from my state, but I had no idea he was running and I follow politics all day every day. The first I heard about his campaign is when I read that he dropped out.

The “debacle” of a two term president and most popular democrat in decades. Yeah.

Buttigieg is on top of the polls in Iowa and New Hampshire. Bloomberg can’t win but he can stay in the race for as long as he wants considering the money he has. Harris was wildly unpopular with black voters and ran a disaster of a campaign. This really isn’t surprising at all.

I mean, she was wildly unpopular with black democratic voters.

I’d be happy with her as AG in the Warren administration.

So, Kamala Harris dropping out means we have 4 more years of Trump? Seems pretty defeatist. I mean, I liked Harris but she didn’t really resonate with many people and also was highly unpopular with the black electorate. A mildly popular centrist dropping out of the race doesn’t seem like a death knell for the
