You don't know where his story is going. And it's hardly his primary characteristic (see my long list of characteristics).

Except it's not Sonny Corleone. It's Luca Brasi, someone about whom we're told more than shown. He almost existed entirely 1) to show the vast gulf between street criminals and Don Corleone, and 2) to serve as a reason for the 'Sicilian message' about sleeping with the fishes. He was not exactly a fully-fleshed out

That's just it. We're being asked to care about Frank's reaction, not about Stan. This just tells us something about Frank. Why do WE need to know who the character is?

I'm tired of seeing closeted gay former mercenaries turned cop work out their issues with their domineering, white trash, former-show girl mothers, while solving major crimes.

Given the hype, I'm tempted to watch the show Hannibal, if only for Scott Thompson, but the character Hannibal as presented in most other media is the most Mary-Sue-est Mary Sue that ever Mary Sued. You asshats have nothing but gall

I'm going to guess that you're not a woman and that you're probably under 40. That will be akin to giving you the benefit of the doubt for your statement.

And you'd still be watching it and bitching about it.

I'm really sick of the haters. Last night's episode was fantastic as was the previous one.

Rod Stewart is the worst plagiarist in rock history, and that's saying something.

I dunno, I'll go one step further and say that Chicago (the city) is poorly represented by either, though I agrees that Chicago (the band) is vastly better than Chicago (the musical).

Wikipedia's disambiguation page for "The Fall" shows just how complicated that one really is:

You must be my age.

How about Gray's Anatomy? I'm more down with Spalding Gray than Patrick Dempsey.

And she was clearly shaken and frantically trying to get her knife out. It was exciting, but not in the same way as a Die Hard movie.
