It’s more how they spread the Side Missions out is the problem. Half of them are done before you even get to Golem City which makes the rest of the game feel short by comparison, with the Swiss Alps section being very short anyway.

My first playthrough clocked in around 20ish hours. I think the biggest issue contributing to the ‘short’ length is that side quests pretty much drop to just about nothing after your first big story mission.
