Considering how far off-book the show seems to be headed, and given Emily's faith, I wonder if she's going to become the show's version of Featherstone down the road …

Since the beginning of the story line, I've felt like Donny's there to create a situation where Mark and/or Megan become possessed. Considering their behavior at the end of the episode, I'd lean towards Megan - also because having one of the only characters who cared about Kyle from the beginning of the series become

Yep. That was pretty much my reaction to the sex scene. "Oh yeah, this is a *Cinemax* show, I nearly forgot".

For me, part of the problem is also that with a lot of those shows and movies -specifically live action- is that the 'family friendliness' blatantly feels like the result of an executive mandate rather than something organic to the writing.
The best examples of what I mean aren't family friendly, but I think still

I still haven't seen the film, but Feig was my biggest concern about this movie. Lord & Miller would have been an interesting choice to direct, but for my money Edgar Wright (and again, with the same cast) would have knocked it out of the park. I mean, the guy has continually proven through his career that he knows

I felt like Flowers and Detectorists had a lot of emotional sincerity and vulnerability. But it was emotional sincerity born out of loss and failure. So.. I don't know what my point was, other than to say that I found Flowers to be one of the most beautiful and unique shows I've seen in a long, long time.

I'm totally on board with the cast they have for this reboot, but I'll bite at your 'name even four guys' thing:
-Will Forte
-Ron Funches
-Kumail Nanjiani
-Keegan-Michael Key
-Jordan Peele
-Hannibal Buress
-Patton Oswalt
-Jon Hamm
-Paul Rudd
-Aziz Ansari
-Nick Offerman
-Adam Scott
-Joe Lo Truglio

How dare a certain corner of the internet speak of Lana Kane that way.

Oh yeah! Rogue One is coming out this year! Thanks for the reminder!

It's been a while since I've re-read the comics, but I don't think there's any reason *why* Cassidy being a vampire fits in to the main story line of Jesse/Genesis. But his, let's say 'situation', is used to explain his personality, and you just couldn't make a Preacher adaptation where Cassidy was just some bloke.
As

At the very least, I'd say the show up to this point has done a good job of proving that Rogen has a legitimate love for the source material and seems to be at least trying to do right by it.
I'm not sure it will have the budget to have the momentum and scope it needs to be successful in the long run - to me, it

I have no idea what direction the show is going to go in, but you're probably best to get any expectations of Jesse's character arc being similar to Walter White's - or for similarities between shows- out of your head or you'll be disappointed. At least going by the comic.

I've always expected that the show would basically be an alternate take on the source material, so I've been okay with things so far - but I've mostly been watching the show as a piece of pulpy, mindless entertainment, not with any expectations of it being 'the next breaking bad'.
Although:
- Comic Jesse would *never*

Eh, as someone whose read the comic series many, many times, none of what's going on feels random to me. But it does feel like they're trying to establish too many story threads in the first season.
IMO, it probably would have seemed more cohesive to people unfamiliar with the source material if they had of stuck

Not to mention seeing people compare CK to Cosby. And, just… no.
CK is *rumored* (and at this point that's all it is) to have forced two women to watch him masturbate - a despicable thing no doubt, and one he should face charges for if true. Cosby drugged and raped dozens of women.
Someone not being able to recognize

Not really, considering that after everybody jumped on Kirkman's podcast interview she clarified that she never felt unsafe around CK, that she didn't know about any 'forced masturbation' but if that was true it had nothing to do with her, and I believe in a few post-interview interviews pretty much said that it came

It's all just social peacocking, navel gazing, and unchecked narcissism.
It's laughable to me that you have students at Ivy League Universities screaming about privilege without ever acknowledging that they're part of the privileged class.
It's not laughable that in all likelihood one of these precious snowflakes has

I'll always give my vote to anyone who managed 4 or 5 golds, regardless of what team they're on, but I've noticed that those cards rarely get more than 3 or 4 votes. Not sure why, maybe because 4 is a lower number than say 11 or 17 or whatever?

Oh, yeah, that's the problem I was mostly talking about.

I usually play as either Mercy or Lucio, and in the last week or so (at least on PSN) have been noticing it become a lot more common to run in to other people that jump on a healer almost right away during character select.
