I don't know if she still is, but a few years ago she was very good friends with Da Brat (the rapper).

She's 77!?! Whoa. The great Lily is only 75. Just telling you because I felt the need to look those ages up. Can't believe it.
I'm so sad for this family—all of the kids witnessed this horrible scene. This is why when people say crap like, "Everything happens for a reason," I'm like, "Fuck you, you obviously don't pay attention to the news."
Agreed. It's like all of their obsessive thoughts flow out, like in a diary. I just reread an old diary and I was like, "Why did I keep worrying about that thing that has no bearing on my life and cares all these years later?!"
It would certainly help with the watching.
haha. The water thing. I had forgotten that. Classic. Great end of the workday laugh.
Agreeing that is on the horizon, but Redmayne is a fairly sure thing for Best Actor—at least at the BAFTAs, if not the Oscars, too.
"In the end, just like the other women, I had too much to lose to go after Bill Cosby."—Beverly Johnson, Vanity Fair article
Best fact in the speech: She's only 5'2". "Though I appear as one girl, one person, who is 5 feet 2 inches tall, if you include my high heels, I am not a lone voice, I am many," she said.
It's an excellent choice. Like first responders to disasters, these people do excellent work all the time and don't get enough attention/thanks.
He is probably upset, but he went to a basketball game last night so he must be somewhat okay (http://www.tmz.com/2014/12/09/flo…)
<<I'm not gonna name names...>> This is awesome. I'm going to use it when telling people things I don't like about them.
haha. I was looking forward to your reply, but then only got to the first line. <<hugs>> You sweet thing.
It's not defensive to try to have a discussion about things. I've been molested myself and I've been volunteering with children and teens with similar issues for about 16 years, so you don't know the messenger.
Thanks, yeah, your phrasing is great—I don't think I'm a traitor for the cause because I question something. I learned once again today that people like to take their anger out on invisible Internet people and many people don't like to discuss things they disagree with. My point wasn't so much that she is lying (which…
My point was that her actions are such that they cause people to judge her and not focus on what Cosby clearly did to a large number of women. I can see that my comment should have started with "Whether you believe her or not...".
I DO think his actions are the issue. Absolutely! That was my point: Her behavior (even if its just natural for her) turns the conversation into being about her and not the ginormous number of women that have the same story. She's fainting (on ET), etc.
You are totally right; no two people behave a certain way. However, I was trying to bring up the idea that her methods (including fainting on ET)—in reality, not in terms of how we should change how people feel—change the conversation for most people. I've seen two interviews with her on this subject and I can see how…
I totally agree and I believe her in that something happened; I was saying that her methods turn the conversation into a different direction and that's what I find awkward. Obviously, that's not clear from the resulting comments.
